The Larapinta Trail is a 230km trail running West from Alice Springs in the Northern Territory of Australia. I walked the trail in August - September 2025, carrying my painting supplies and stopping to paint from life along the way. An incredibly beautiful landscape to paint, that did not come without its challenges - the intensity of light and persistent flies that stuck to my eyeballs!
