About Sarah Vieweg

Sarah is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Colorado in the Alliance for Technology, Learning and Society (ATLAS) Institute. As a researcher in Leysia Palen's ConnectivIT Lab, she investigates the sociological aspects of technology, such as the use of online forums in disasters and crises.

About Adam Hodges

Adam earned his Ph.D. in linguistics from the University of Colorado. He has taught linguistics at the University of Colorado and anthropology at Colorado State University. Currently, during the 2009-2010 academic year, he is a lecturer in sociolinguistics at Stanford University. His research examines the use of language in politics and the media.

He is also an avid multisport athlete, having competed in a variety of triathlons including the Ironman Triathlon World Championships, the ITU World Triathlon Championships, and ITU World Duathlon Championships. For more about Adam, visit www.adamhodges.com.
